The Pogo for Fun Challenge

The Pogo for Fun challenge will be played in teams but you are responsible for your own game. If you have questions about how this multi week tourney will be played please let me know.

To start if you are interested in competing in the Pogo for Fun challenge please send me an email requesting an invite. The tourney will be an invite only but everyone is welcome to play. The reason we are doing as invite only is so it doesn't affect your league stats. At the start of the tourney everyone will randomly be divided into two teams. These will be your teams for the duration of the Pogo for Fun challenge. But even though you are in teams it's really an individual game. Your success in the game depends on yourself. Read below for complete details.

Each week there will be a team challenge and the Pogo gauntlet. The team challenge will be a team vs. team competition. However you will be competing against one member from the other team. The team challenge may be game specific or may be a general pogo challenge. For example you may need to play a game of dice derby against your opponent sometime during the week. The winner of the derby game will get a point for their team. Or it may be a full team challenge where I will get token counts for everyone at a specific time on Monday and then I will get token counts again on Thursday night. Whichever team gains the most tokens in those 4 days will win the team challenge. Each member on each team has an individual bank account. When your team wins a team challenge you get 500 bux banked into your individual bank account.

After the team challenge each week the two players who had the lowest score for the winning team will choose two players from the losing team to compete against in the Pogo for Fun gauntlet. The gauntlet will be played on Saturday night at 8pm in a different game each week. The games will be played separately for each pairing. The winner of the gauntlet will remain in the game and take the losing players bank account. The losing player will be eliminated from the tourney. At the end of the set number of weeks and before the final team challenge is played whatever bux are in your individual bank accounts will be yours to keep win or lose the final challenge.

This tourney will be a set number of weeks which will be determined after we see how many players we have in. There will be players left at the end of the tourney and these players will compete for big bux and a prize. The two teams will compete in a head to head team challenge. The final team challenge will be played on a Saturday night and will consist of 5 challenges for the teams to complete. The first team to complete all 5 challenges successfully will win the Pogo for Fun challenge and the big bux and the prize.
