What a nice, quiet, short month February was. And what an exciting month March looks to be! Here is a look back over the month of February with Pogo for Fun and what you can look forward to for March!

We started the month off with a Pogo for Fun race! Racers accumulated points to qualify for the Pogo for Fun race that kicked off with the start of the NASCAR season. Points were earned for jumping a tour, playing an entire tourney, getting the high score during any round in a tourney, and winning the tourney. And we had a separate race for the hosts who could also win points by hosting a tourney. The staff winners were: Amy, Angel, and Nikki. And the player winners were: Barb, Ladyg, and mag. These were the players with the highest points. Congratulations racers!

Finally, on the 14th 20 players came out to race for a chance to win a NASCAR basket filled with NASCAR goodies. It came down to a photo finish with Funkycherrie taking home the grand prize. Net was neck and neck all the way and finished in second place! We all had a blast and we wanted to thank everyone for coming out and racing with Pogo for Fun.

As an addition to the race, for anyone who is interested, imj and mac started a fantasy NASCAR league. There is a link to the site on our redirect page on the left under league links. All league members are welcome to join. If you're interested in joining please contact mac on his yahoo, which is the same as his league name, imj or myself and we will help you get signed up!

On Valentine's Day we also had our second annual sweethearts tourney. Pixie made us a gorgeous Valentine's page and 9 eager teams of 2 competed for the win. Amy and Nikki took top honors with kelbelle and maegan coming in a close second. A great time was had by all and we look forward to next years Valentine's tourney.

Due to personal issues the Pogo for Fun challenge as been postponed by 2 weeks. March 14th will be the new kick off date. So if you are interested in competing there is still time. For more information on this special check out Pogo for fun challenge. All are welcome to play and it looks to be a blast. If you have questions or need help please let me know.

Now onto March! A big congratulations goes out to yusta21sep our Pogo for Fun player of the month for March. Please come out later in the month as we thank yusta for all his support of PFF.

March Madness has arrived at Pogo for Fun. And it brings bingo! Everyday through March 19th we will be hosting bingo tourneys! It will be a point contest again with the players earning the most points qualifying for the final multi day tourney beginning the week of the 22nd. It will be a single elimination bracket tourney that will run similar to the college basket ball. We’ll start out with all qualifying players on Monday. The Tuesday will be the sweet 16, Wednesday the top 8, Thursday will be the Final Four, and the tour will end Friday with the Final 2 players. What do you have to do to earn points? Play in any bingo tour! You get 1 point for joining the tourney, 2 for playing the entire tourney, and 3 for winning. Points will be posted on a page similar to what I did for the race so come out and play bingo with Pogo for Fun!

Also during the first couple of weeks of the month we will be having our 7-11 tours again. It will run the same as last year but for those who weren't here last year it goes like this. Every single tourney hosted where we get at least 7 players one person will receive an entry to our Pot of Gold tourney on the 17th. If we have 11 or more players then 2 players will receive entries. It will go to the players who are seeded 7 and 11 randomly by cases. We will then have our Pot of Gold tourney on the 17th and everyone who received an entry will receive an invite to the tourney. Come get lucky with PFF and search for a Pot of Gold!

We have also started a recipe sharing group for Pogo for Fun members. There are links to join on our beta page and our redirect page. If you need help joining please let Lori, Barb, Amy, or myself know and one of us will be happy to help you.

On our redirect page we have a birthday calendar. If your name is on this calendar a member of our admin staff will contact you to find out if you’d like a birthday tourney. You may choose the game, the format, and the day and time, and the host if you like. If you don’t see your name on the calendar let any admin know and we’ll be glad to add you!

We have an open door policy here at Pogo for Fun. This means if you have any complaints, comments, or suggestions you may come to us at any time. I can be reached via my email at IndyMom78@indy.rr.com or via yahoo at IndyMom1978@yahoo.com. We have the best people on pogo and I am honored to be able to host for you all! The admins at PFF enjoy coming up with new and creative tourney ideas for our wonderful players. And we thank you all for your feedback on each and every one good or bad. But we must be doing something right! Everyone enjoys the race and it has been such a hit other leagues have heard of it! As they say "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Thank you all for being such wonderful players! Thank you all for your support of Pogo for Fun!
